Hello and

Welcome to Vidium legal media

Vidium Legal Media is an company dedicated to working with the legal community to produce top-of -the -line marketing and trial-based media. On the trial side, we work with your team to settle cases quickly and maximize monetary awards. We know the expenses in time and people power for taking cases to trial, and we aim to minimize that as much as possible. However, we can also deliver products throughout a case's life cycle from settlement negotiations to litigation to monetary awards that will give you an edge up on your opposing counsel.

Our marketing endeavors consist of producing advertising and branding content that covers everything from logos to broadcast spots for radio and TV and everything in between. We believe a combination of efforts across different platforms produces the best results but it is vital that all of your marketing is consistent and on-brand across all your delivery platforms. Considering Vidium as your in-house marketing team ensures that level of steadiness and consistency.

Here is a brief look into

WHAT WE CAN OFFER OUR CLIENTS!

*Due To Client Confidentiality We May Display Ficticious Projects or projects with altered data.
Use 3D Animations to make your case come to life in ways your opposing counsel wasn't willing to do.
Technical information presented in traditional ways can mean asking the jury to filter through data and concepts that are complex and abstract. Let's be honest, highly scientific data can be dry, monotonous and frankly boring. But this type of information is vital to your case. Being able to show such things as G.I.S data with 3D animations not only makes the data more concrete and visual to the jury but it is also much more memorable.

Real world technical data made entertaining.
Using proven methods of Information Architecture can help you drive the importance of certain types of data home.
A simple yet efficiently designed chart can literally say a thousand words, and in trial that can be the difference between the jury understanding your argumant or tuning you out. Have you ever watched opposing counsel struggle with a overhead projector and a chart that was photocopied from a client file. Don't let that be you!

Branding Package
Use 3D and or 2D Animation to lay the groundwork for testimony that jurors might not be familiar with or know very little about.
The use of general concept explanation videos or presentations beforehand can greatly help the jury absorb the information that is to come, providing them context and a framework for understanding that they wouldn't have had otherwise.

Don't cut the marketing corners when you are preparing to launch!
When you and your partners are getting ready to launch your own firm the list of things to get done can be exhaustive. On top of that you might feel that your artisitc and creative abilities don't quite match up to your legal ones. The tempting but ill-advised solution would be to go buy a logo template of some kind. Get in touch to hear more about our offer to new firms that will put your mind at ease in this area while not emptying your account before the billable hours start rolling in.

Branding and Identity
Make your collateral stand out
immediately in a unique but professional way.
Medial Callouts isolate and highlight complex anatomical testimony.
We can work with your medical experts to produce exhibits that illustrate and highlight medical testimony. Using your clients actual x-rays or medical imaging we can connect your clients pain and suffering to the expert testimony making the injuries much more personal and immediate to the jury.
Medical overlays
Call out highly technical and
difficult to understand medical information.
The use of illustrations can sometimes be all you need to highlight certain pieces of information.
Let's face it, sometimes you simply don't need a 3D animation or a piece og highly produced video evidence to make your point. Sometimes a simple illustration is all you need to clearly make your point to the jury. What does a certain intersection look like? Where on the litgants arm was it actually fracured? When facts are not in dispute a humble illustration may be all you need to convey details.
Illustrative Exhibits
Visual re-creations of medical, scientific
and other types of evidence.
Sometimes we step outside of the trial side and produce work for other areas of legal practice as well.
This video was produced for representation of Atyane during the push for investors and capital aquisition. Just because your area of practise may be outside of litigation doesn't mean Vidium Legal Media has nothing to offer your firm. We pride ourselves in finding out of the box ways to help ALL areas of practise.

Frequently

Asked Questions

We have never heard of you before. How long have you been at this?
Vidium is in fact new to the area but we are not new to the world of creative services for the legal community. In fact we were quite surprised to see that no-one was already working in this space here in Maine. We have done this for a few different companies in the Denver area, and has over a decades worth of real world experience helping law firms with their creative needs.
Sounds interesting, what is the process?
It's different for each service but generally speaking it always starts with a conversation about what you need, why you need it and when you need it. From there it will branch into whatever the specific need is. Also, please read our policies page for even greater details depending on project type.
We would like you to create some exhibits for us. How do we proceed?
Give us a call and we will set up a meeting to come into your offices to discuss with your trial team what types of exhibits you need. We prefer to leave the meeting with specific information so we can start right away, but we can also set up a process for you to deliver specifics to us at a later point. We also need a fixed date as to when you need the materials in your hands. Preferably this will be at least a few days before you will present them just in case there are any last minute changes or small fixes to be made.
Do you work with other firms in our geographic area and practise area?
The honest answer is it depends. We will never produce materials for both sides in a case so it comes down to a first come first serve situation. We also do not consider ourselves to be an agency so we reserve the right to work with different firms for different projects. We are open to the discussions of becoming an agency of record should you feel the need is relevant enough to you.
What do you require to start a project with us?
After our initial conversations we have with you and or your team we will produce an estimate based on that conversation. Half of that estimate must be recieved for us to begin work. We do this in order to make sure our contracting expenses are covered. For example if you want a settlement documentary produced we will need to book certain talents in order to proceed such as a writer or a director of photography. We also would like to you to sign our policies agreement indicating you have read and undserstand them.
What are our costs in working with Vidium?
This is entirely dependent on project scope and services. Vidium will supply a estimate based on our initial conversations around deliverables and timelines. While the majority of our work is done in-house there are times we may need to hire additional support such as video production crew or specialists in medical illustration for example. You will always know before we begin production the general cost of a project and the areas to look out for that could potentially cause increases.
We are two weeks out from trial and it's hitting the fan, how can you help us?
We understand the days before a trial are full of many fast moving parts. Sometimes we feel it can be benficial to literally move into your offices for a week or two to streamline communications and for faster sign off on deliverables. This can be set up for an additional fee that will be determined by length of stay and location. We also offer in court technical support for our exhibits and your AV needs. So you can concentrate on your case and not be fiddling with cables and zip drives.
We have never done TV commercial, how do those work?
Like all our projects they begin with us understanding what your need actually is. Are you not getting enough cases? Are you getting the wrong types of clients ect. Once the problem is identified we will produce scripts and a basic storyboard. Once those get approval we will book crew and find a day or two to shoot your spot(s). Then the editing and post production begins. And once you give final approval of your spots we will deliver them to your outlets. At this time we do not buy media but we can point you in the direction of people who do or you can go through your local cable station directly.
We loved the work you did for us and understand you do not divulge client information or case details, but we are uncomfortable with you putting the project up as example work. Would you mind not using this one?
Of course. If there is a reason as to why even with altered names and data you are reluctant to allow the work we just completed for you on our website or any of our other marketing just let us know and we will refrain from using it.
